    Job Summary: The job of HUMAN RESOURCES ANALYST purpose of providing support to the delivery of human resource services with specific responsibility for analyzing, coding, and processing position requests; providing information to employees regarding policies, regulations, and negotiated language; addressing a variety of issues and/or providing general support; and assisting in ensuring personnel functions conform to all applicable regulatory requirements.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned:
    • Assists with employment process (e.g., evaluate, code, and process position requests, review and submit fingerprint cards, etc.) for the purpose of meeting district staffing requirements while complying with established guidelines.
    • Attends meetings, workshops, and seminars for the purpose of providing and/or gathering information required to perform functions.
    • Monitors budget allocations of all employee positions for the purpose of maintaining fiscal goals and adhering to district guidelines and policies.
    • Performs software application functions (e.g., VISIONS training, testing, maintenance, support, etc.) for the purpose of maintaining software applications to support employees and district policies and guidelines.
    • Performs annual reconciliation of all district employee positions for the purpose of accommodating changes due to revised yearly allocations and adhering to district guidelines and policies.
    • Creates and manages High School master schedule template according to course guide.
    • Oversee High School dual maintenance to ensure position control per master schedule dissemination.
    • Prepares a variety of reports and related documents for the purpose of providing documentation and information.
    • Processes documents and materials for the purpose of disseminating information to appropriate parties.
    • Responds to written and verbal inquiries from a variety of internal and external sources for the purpose of providing information and/or providing direction.
    • Supports assigned administrative personnel for the purpose of providing assistance with their administrative functions.
    • Performs other duties as assigned or required.

    KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
    • Knowledge of applicable Federal, state, county and city statutes, rules, policies, and procedures
    • Knowledge of applicable grants management
    • Knowledge of applicable Peoria Unified School District and departmental policies and procedures

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High School diploma or equivalent. Required to perform basic math, including calculations using fraction, percent, and or ratios read a variety of manuals, write documents following prescribed formats, and/or present information to others; and understand complex, multi-step written and oral instructions. Specific knowledge-based competencies required to satisfactorily perform the functions of the job include.

    OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
    • Must be able to pass a fingerprint and background check. IVP fingerprint clearance card.
    • May be required to work outside normal working hours.
    • Must have at the time of application and must maintain a valid Arizona driver's license.
