Immediately   Additional Information: - Facilitates and completes or revises Functional Behavioral Assessments
- Conducts informal observation and data collection to facilitate the development of behavioral interventions
- Facilitates development and/or revision of formal Behavior Intervention Plans
- Develops and/or revises of behavior support plans
- Provides training to school personnel regarding data collection and the implementation of Behavior Intervention Plans and behavior support plans
- Develops data collection mechanisms relating to Behavior Intervention Plans
- Conducts fidelity checks on the implementation of behavior intervention plans and behavior support plans
- Analyzes data and implements data driven changes to behavioral strategies and interventions
- Provides summary reports on individual student progress regarding behavioral interventions
- Collaborates regularly with site Psychologists and/or Behavior Interventionists on student needs and progress.
- Collaborates regularly with Program Coach, site administration, and district special education leadership
- Participates and/or contributes to IEP team meetings and IEP development
- Implements and provides the level of social/emotional/behavioral support written in students’ IEPs
- Provides ongoing training and consultation to school teams and specialized programs staff regarding behavioral needs, strategies, and data collection
- Attends Behavior Health Specialist department meetings and trainings
- Performs other duties as assigned or required
- Knowledge of applicable federal, state, county and city statutes, rules, policies and procedures.
- Knowledge of applicable Peoria Unified School District and departmental policies and procedures.
- Knowledge of Special Education Policy and Procedure Manual.
- Working knowledge of ABA principles and various ABA approaches
- Demonstrates knowledge of best practices in using behavioral techniques.
- Skill in working with multiple sites and administrators.
- Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relations with co-workers, vendors, students, parents, the general public and others having business with the school district.
- Skill in self-reflection to monitor and adjust overall behavior program as needed.
- Skill in operating a personal computer utilizing a variety of software applications.
- Must be able to pass a fingerprint and background clearance check.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain an Arizona driver’s license.
- May be required to lift and carry heavy, bulky supplies and materials weighing up to 20 pounds.
- May be required to lift students weighing up to 60 pounds.
- May be required to work outside normal working hours.
- May be required to travel to perform work functions.
- Must be able to pass classes in and get a current certification in CPI, First Aid, CPR and Medicaid billing.

Job Summary: The behavior analyst is a school professional designated to study human behavior and work to improve it through the collection of data, development and revision of behavioral strategies and intervention plans. Additionally, the role of the behavior analyst is to affect behavior change and provide training, support, and oversight in the implementation of behavior strategies and intervention plans. The BCBA will also support ongoing progress monitoring of student goals.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Master’s Degree in applied behavior analysis, psychology, child development, special education, or a related field and be a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. Two years of experience working with children having behavioral needs preferred.
