Here’s Why Our Support Staff Love Working Here
I have wonderful memories helping in the classroom and working with students. Many of them have come to me and say, “Thank you for all the help, I’m going to pass my class!”Ruth Balkom | Instructional Assistant
I’ve driven a lot of students, helped a lot of students, and so many different personalities along the way. My time with Peoria Unified has helped me grow as a person. I only wish I had this experience as a younger adult, because I think I would have been a much better father.Leo Norris | Bus Driver
The best part of my job is when you say, "Good Morning" to a student and they smile back at ya!Beth Ellenberger | District Bus Driver
After the thrill of retirement wore off, I needed something to do. Bus driving was something I could do, I like to drive. Plus, I get weekends and summers off and paid holidays, can't beat that. I also get to see some beautiful sunrises!Neil Short | District Bus Driver
I feel like I make a difference in people's lives. Watching children grow to become responsible young adults and feeling like my smile and encouragement helped them get there… it is truly rewarding.Andria Isler | District Bus Driver
