- Provide guidance and leadership to all District departments, as necessary, and make recommendations for operational improvements to the Superintendent.
- Develop and implement administrative policies and procedures to ensure the district operates efficiently and cost effectively.
- Facilitate the development and administration of human resources plans and programs that further the District’s Strategic Plan by collaborating and sharing information with District administrators and staff.
- Provide advice and counsel to the Superintendent and other District personnel when needed to achieve efficient and effective operations, especially in areas pertaining to financial management.
- Maintain knowledge of current laws, research, and procedures in areas related to the Business Services Department and provide the Governing Board, administrators, staff, and other interested parties with related information.
- Lead implementation of the District Strategic Plan.
- Coordinate activities with district leaders, resolving issues and ensuring alignment across departments.
- Serve as a Cabinet member and attend all Board of Education meetings.
- Act as a liaison to legislators, government officials, and community groups on educational matters.
- Build partnerships with the Board, labor organizations, businesses, and community stakeholders.
- Supervise and evaluate assigned personnel, handling performance assessments and personnel actions.
- Prepare Board agenda items, reports, and correspondence.
- Perform other duties assigned by the Superintendent.
- Lead a district-wide strategy for operational excellence, ensuring all departments function seamlessly to support excellence in teaching and learning.
- Oversee and align all operational services, including finance, human resources, technology, facilities, procurement, risk management, and transportation.

- Master’s degree in business administration, Educational Leadership, Finance, or a related field (Doctorate preferred).
- Ability to pass a fingerprint and background check.
- Must possess and maintain a valid Arizona driver’s license.
- Willingness to work outside normal business hours as needed to support district initiatives.
