    Term of Employment: 12 months
    Salary Classification: Grade 10

    Job Summary: Provides complex administrative support to District programs and personnel; communicates information to staff and the public; provides complete and accurate records; and provides information and direction regarding various federal grants.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES generally include the following. Other duties may be assigned:
    • Attends department, or in-service and school budget revision meetings to convey and/or gather information required to perform functions.
    • Answers telephone calls for the purpose of responding to inquiries and/ referring to appropriate personnel.
    • Processes and distributes documents, forms, mailings and materials (e.g. timesheets, time and effort logs, reference guides, etc.) to disseminate information to appropriate parties.
    • Assists with preparation, development, monitoring and maintaining accurate budget workbooks for school-based Title 1 and 21st CCLC budgets, Title II and Title IV-S budgets to provide up-to-date balances for schools and departments.
    • Collaborates with District Administration Staff to improve, problem-solve and correct Title I procedures and incidents.
    • Communicates with schools and discusses budget allocations and spending plans.
    • Monitors, tracks, and maintains sub requests for Federal Programs professional development.
    • Collects, verifies, and processes timesheets for payroll.
    • Enters and processes Extra Duty work Positions and works with school staff to ensure positions are in place.
    • Prepares, distributes, and collects completed Time & Effort logs.
    • Provides documentation and information to ensure accurate Audit requirements are met.
    • Provides administrative support to ensure necessary implementation of Federal Grants.
    • Reconciles invoice billings and expenditure reports for various Federal grant expenditures, extra duty compensation and substitutes.
    • Maintains and updates policy and procedural reference guides.
    • Communicates effectively with team members, district personnel and all stakeholders.
    • Provides positive customer service.
    • Performs other duties as assigned or required. ?

    KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
    • Knowledge of applicable Federal, state, county and city statutes, rules, policies and procedures
    • Knowledge of applicable grants management
    • Knowledge of applicable Peoria Unified School District and departmental policies and procedures

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
    HS Diploma or GED required
    Minimum of two years of relevant experience

    OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
    • Must be able to pass a fingerprint and background check
    • May be required to work outside normal working hours
    • Must have at the time of application and must maintain a valid Arizona driver's license
