    JOB SUMMARY: The Instructional Technology Coach (ITC) reports to the Lead Instructional Technology Coach. The ITC supports the use of technology integration to enhance learning and teaching across the school district. The ITC also works directly with teachers, Instructional and Content Coaches, and Exceptional Student Services Strategists to provide coaching, mentoring, and professional development to support the strategic implementation of integrating technology into instruction.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES generally include the following. Other duties may be assigned:

    • Create a shared vision and culture for using technology to learn through the coaching process.

    • Work with the curriculum department to align instruction and technology integration with the district curriculum

    • Recognize educators across the organization who use technology effectively to enable high-impact teaching and learning

    • Establish trusting and respectful coaching relationships that encourage educators to explore new instructional strategies, such as blended learning

    • Partner with educators to evaluate the efficacy of digital learning content and tools

    • Personalize support for educators by planning and modeling the effective use of technology to improve student learning

    • Collaborate with educators to develop authentic, active learning experiences that foster student agency, deepen content mastery and allow students to demonstrate their competency

    • Help educators use digital tools to create effective assessments that provide timely feedback and support personalized learning

    • Collaborate with educators to design accessible and active digital learning environments that accommodate learner variability

    • Design professional learning based on frameworks for working with adults to support their learning needs

    • Build the capacity of educators to integrate the AZ EdTech Standards by facilitating active learning and providing meaningful feedback

    • Actively participate in professional learning to enhance coaching practice and keep current with emerging technology, innovations in pedagogy and the learning sciences.

    • Facilitate curriculum technology projects, digital citizenship, and site technology policies

    • Provide support to site administrators in the full and skillful implementation of the sites’ goals for technology integration

    • Work with district and site administration to develop policies and procedures for technology use and to ensure that technology resources are allocated effectively
